Timeless by Alexandra Monir

I never thought this book will make me want more. A modern 'Somewhere in Time' YA book but with a happier ending (I suppose so).

It all starts when Michele (with a single 'L') happens to live with her maternal grandparents in uptown New York. Her grandparents just so happens to be the famous (and rich) Walkers and she is going to live in this grand mansion that has been the home of the Walkers for over a century. Being alone (as her mom passed away in an accident and her dad leaving them before she was even born), she felt so lonely in that big house. She was able to find an odd looking key that became the start of her time traveling - back to time her ancestors lived - only that one of them can only see her. Until she finds Philip, the boy from his dream. As the story evolved on how Michele travelled from present to past, helping her ancestors and being with Philip, she also found out a little about her long lost father - Henry Irving - or Irving Henry in the past.

It's a page turner, one of those YA books that make you feel good, makes you cry and feel what Michel is feeling, and in love. The book ends of a 'Philip Walker', a new student, entering Michel's classroom, a splitting image of the Philip Walker boyfriend she had in the past.
